Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest of Richard McCormick's children was born in Woodland Hills in 1956. She was the home of her mother and also mother to her children. Michael Dennis Kevin, her two brothers older. At a young age, McCormick was a singer and dance and would often put on puppet shows for kids in the community. She won in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley Contest at age 6 and was contacted via Pat Domigan, a talent agent from the Jack Wormser Agency. He asked her if she wanted to join the business of show production. Her first major role came during 1964, when she appeared in a TV commercial for Mattels new Baby Pattaburp doll. A year later she was a guest on the company's Chatty Cathy Doll and was immediately cast in the La Jolla Playhouse play Wind ItUp And ItBreaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick, who was selected from over 1200 auditioning children to play the third of three head-to-head daughters in The Brady Bunch (1969) with Florence Henderson and Robert Reed. The run of five years for the show proved to be a huge success. McCormick's memoir Heres the Story, Surviving Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice was published in the year 2008. She revealed in it that McCormick was close to losing her virginity while on sets of the show in the fifth season when it was played by Barry Williams. In 2008, McCormick disclosed in her book, Here's the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice, that during season five of the show, she was close to losing her virginity to Barry Williams. We would've had a couple, she added. But the timing wasn't just right.
